Urine Drug Test Kit Instructions
This page contains information on how the urine drug test purchased from us should be performed.
To perform the test you will need a fresh urine sample , this should be cooled to room temperature (approx 20 minutes is adequate) and a watch or timer.
Single Test: When the urine sample is ready remove the cassette & pippette from the pouch. Place the cassette on a clean level surface. Using the pippette, add 3 drops of urine into the sample hole. Allow 5 seconds between each drop.
Multi Test: Remove the cover and dip the exposed prongs into the urine sample.
Read the result at exactly 5 minutes.
How to interpret the results
Negative: Two coloured lines appear adjacent to each other in the result window. This indicates that no drug above the cut-off level has been detected. The test line intensity may be any shade of pink and weaker or stronger than that of the control line. All five tests are independent of each other, it is not recommended to compare the results or colour intensity of the test lines.
Positive: Only one coloured line appears in the control region (C). No test line appears in the test region (T).
Invalid: If no control line appears in the result window, the test should be considered void. Improper testing procedures or deterioration of reagents probably occurred.
Important do not attempt to read the result after 10 minutes from adding the sample. The result showing at 5 minutes is the accurate reading for the test performed.
